Key Responsibilities
As a Bus Attendant, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Safety and Security: Properly using securing devices for safety restraints, wheelchairs, and seat belts.
- Loading and Unloading: Assisting the driver in the safe loading and unloading of passengers.
- Student Discipline: Maintaining discipline among students during transit.
- Supervision: Supervising and assisting students while they are on the bus.
- Reporting: Reporting any concerns regarding students to the driver and appropriate school staff.
- Emergency Preparedness: Knowing school bus evacuation procedures and being physically capable of evacuating students in an emergency.
- Route Assistance: Learning the bus route and providing route information, including directions for substitute or newly assigned bus drivers.
Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Experience: 0-1 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Skills: Ability to handle emergency situations, maintain discipline, and communicate effectively with students and staff.
- Personal Attributes: Responsible, patient, and capable of managing student behavior.
- Languages: Proficiency in any language is acceptable.
- Nationality: Open to candidates of any nationality.
- Location: Must be based in the UAE.
Compensation and Benefits
