Job Description
Our company is seeking a professional and organized Office Clerk to manage various administrative and clerical duties. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth office operations and supporting different departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Meeting Management: Record minutes of meetings and transcripts accurately.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls, distribute messages, and redirect calls to the appropriate departments.
- File Management: Maintain and update company files and records.
- Bookkeeping: Manage basic bookkeeping duties, including preparing and mailing bills, contracts, and invoices.
- Office Organization: Assist with office management and organizational processes.
- Inventory Management: Track office supplies inventory and inform management about shortages.
- Travel Arrangements: Plan and book travel arrangements and venues for company events.
- Scheduling: Schedule meetings and plan various department activities and calendars.
Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clerical position.
Skills: Strong knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting processes. Proficiency with MS Office is essential.
Communication: Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
Typing: Must be a fast typist with excellent multi-tasking abilities.
