Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our restaurant operations. This role is pivotal in delivering a high-quality dining experience and motivating our team to provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
As a Restaurant Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Daily Operations: Coordinating both Front of the House and Back of the House operations to ensure smooth service.
- Customer Satisfaction: Delivering superior service to maximize customer satisfaction and responding efficiently to complaints.
- Quality Control: Regularly reviewing product quality and researching new vendors.
- Staff Management: Organizing and supervising shifts, appraising staff performance, and providing feedback to improve productivity.
- Resource Management: Estimating future needs for goods, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products, ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
- Cost Control: Managing operational costs and identifying measures to cut waste.
- Reporting: Creating detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.
- Brand Promotion: Promoting the restaurant in the local community through word-of-mouth and events, and recommending ways to reach a broader audience.
- Training: Training new and current employees on proper customer service practices and implementing policies to maintain future operations.
Candidate Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess the following:
- Management Skills: Experience in managing both front and back of the house operations.
- Customer Service: A strong focus on customer service, with the ability to handle customer complaints effectively.
- Leadership: The ability to lead by example and uplift staff during busy times.
- Multitasking: Excellent multitasking skills to balance various restaurant functions simultaneously.
- Communication: Proficiency in multiple languages (Arabic, French, Russian, English, Hindi) is preferred.
