Job Description
Al Noor is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for receiving, unloading, and stocking inventory, as well as picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently.
- Cycle Counts: Perform regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Warehouse Organization: Organize and maintain warehouse space to ensure a clean and efficient working environment.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- SOP Compliance: Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to achieve warehouse goals.
- Warehouse Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
Candidate Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess the following:
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of inventory management and material handling equipment.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and moving heavy items.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Communication: Proficiency in English and Hindi is preferred.
- Team Player: Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with colleagues to achieve goals.
